Tristan Rogers (born June 3, 1946 – died August 15, 2025) was an Australian actor. He was widely known for his role as Robert Scorpio in the ABC television show General Hospital. He also lent his voice to the character Jake in Walt Disney Pictures' animated movie The Rescuers Down Under.
Tristan Rogers was born in Melbourne, Australia. He began his acting career on Australian television. He appeared in popular Australian soap operas like Bellbird, Number 96, and The Box. He also had roles in police dramas and other TV programs before moving to the United States.

Famous Roles in the United States
Starring in General Hospital
Tristan Rogers became very famous for playing Robert Scorpio on the American soap opera General Hospital. A soap opera is a type of TV show that tells long, ongoing stories about the lives of its characters. He first appeared on the show in 1980 and stayed until 1992.
His character, Robert Scorpio, became incredibly popular, especially when he was involved in storylines with the "supercouple" Luke and Laura. Their wedding on the show in 1981 was a huge event. It was watched by 30 million viewers, making it one of the most-watched moments in American soap opera history!
Even after leaving the show, Tristan Rogers returned many times to play Robert Scorpio. Sometimes his character was thought to be gone, but he would always find a way to come back.
