Where is Troy Hills?
Troy Hills is in the southeastern part of its township. It has some interesting neighbors. To the north and west, it borders another CDP called Parsippany. To the south, you'll find Whippany, which is in Hanover Township.
Natural Borders and Roads
To the east of Troy Hills is Troy Meadows. This is a very large freshwater marsh, which is like a wetland. It's an important natural area in New Jersey.
The main road that forms the northern edge of Troy Hills is Interstate 80. This is a big highway. Jefferson Road makes up the western border of the community.
Troy Hills is about 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Morristown. It's also about 17 miles (27 km) northwest of Newark.
