Trulli Tales, also known as Trulli Tales: The Adventures of Trullalleri, is a fun animated TV show. It was created by Maria Elena and Fiorella Congedo. This series is a mix of Italian, French, and Canadian animation.
The show first aired on October 17, 2017, in Brazil. It was made by several companies like Fandango TV and Gaumont Animation. The story takes place in a magical land called Trulliland. This place looks a lot like a real Italian town called Alberobello.
The main characters are four kids and their teacher. They learn how to cook using a special cookbook from their Grandma Trulli. But there's a villain named Copperpot who wants to steal this magical book! The four kids – Ring, Zip, Stella, and Sun – have to stop him. They use their magical wands to protect the cookbook and save the day.

The Wizard Chefs
- Ring (voiced by Eleanor Noble) – He's the leader of the group. Ring is very talented at cooking and chooses the ingredients for each recipe. He's kind and generous, but sometimes a bit too proud. His magic wand is a fork that can also act like a magnet! He has brown hair and dark eyes and wears red.
- Zip (voiced by Sonja Ball) – Zip is the sporty one. He's funny and nice, but can get grumpy or impatient. He's in charge of chopping and mixing ingredients. His wand is a kitchen whisk that can create wind! He has orange hair, green eyes, and wears blue.
- Stella (voiced by Sonja Ball) – Stella loves to decorate. She's great at making dishes look pretty. She can be a bit clumsy and easily distracted. But she is also very sweet and kind. Her wand is a spatula, which she uses for decorating food. She has brown hair and eyes and wears yellow.
- Sun (voiced by Holly Gauthier-Frankel) – Sun is the smartest in the group. She's very determined and bright. Sometimes she can be a bit sensitive or stubborn. Sun's job is to cook the dishes. Her wand is a spoon that lets her control temperatures! She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and wears pink.
- Miss Frisella (voiced by Eleanor Noble) - She owns the Trulli Kingdom bakery. She also protects the special Magic Cookbook.
- Trulli Grandma (voiced by Sonja Ball) - She created the Magic Cookbook. She helps the kids by giving them riddles to solve their problems.
Villains
These characters try to cause trouble for the Trulli kids:
- Copperpot (voiced by Richard M. Dumont) – He's the main bad guy. Copperpot always tries to steal the Magic Cookbook. He thinks he's a genius and loves to brag. We find out he wants the book to free his ancestor, Copperpan, who is trapped inside it.
- Athenina (voiced by Jennifer Seguin) – This is Copperpot's pet owl. She helps him with his plans.
Other Fun Characters
- Terry and Lu (voiced by Sonja Ball and Angela Galuppo) - A spider and a snail who appear at the start and end of each episode.
- Trulli King (voiced by Terrence Scammell) - He rules TrulliLand. He loves collecting old donkey statues.
- Oscar – A student at the Trulli School and a friend to the Wizard Chefs.
- Copperpan - Copperpot's ancestor. He's stuck inside the Magic Cookbook.
- Moldy Mean Genie - A magical being who traps others in bottles.
- Mommypot - Copperpot’s mother.
How the Show Was Made
Trulli Tales was created by several companies working together. Fandango TV, Congedo CulturArte, and Rai Fiction worked on it in Italy. Gaumont Animation helped from France, and Groupe PVP from Canada.
The idea for the show came from a book published by Congedo. Big companies like The Walt Disney Company and Rai Fiction asked for the show to be made for their channels. These include Disney Junior and Rai YoYo. The show has been shown in many countries around the world.

There are 52 episodes in Trulli Tales. Each episode is about 11 minutes long. Every episode was directed by Éric Gosselet. The show features the kids solving problems using their cooking skills and magic. For a full list of episodes, you can check the main article.
Where You Can Watch It
Trulli Tales first aired in Brazil on Gloobinho in 2017. It then came to Italy on Disney Junior in December 2017. Later, it was shown on Rai YoYo in Italy in June 2018.
In Canada, you could watch it on Ici Radio-Canada Télé starting January 2018. It also aired on Knowledge Network in May 2018. The show became very popular and was shown on many Disney Junior channels in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It even premiered in the United States on Nick Jr. in October 2019. By November 2019, the show was available in 177 different places around the world!
Awards and Recognition
Trulli Tales has won some cool awards!
- In 2018, it won the Prix Gémeaux for being the best animated series. This is a big award in Canada.
- In 2019, it made history by being the first TV show to win the Italian Creativity Award. This award came from the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in the United States.
Cool Stuff and Toys
You can find lots of Trulli Tales merchandise!
- Giochi Preziosi started selling toys for the series in 2018. These toys were available in Italy and the United Kingdom.
- Other items like educational toys, tissues, stickers, and food products were also made in Italy.
- Panini even started publishing an official magazine about the show in November 2019.
