Tukarak Island is an island in Canada. It is located in a large body of water called Hudson Bay. This island is part of a group of islands known as the Belcher Islands.
Tukarak Island is special because no people live there. It is an "uninhabited" island. It is found in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut, which is a territory in northern Canada.
About Tukarak Island
Tukarak Island is one of the four biggest islands in the Belcher Islands group. The other large islands are Flaherty Island, Innetalling Island, and Kugong Island.
What's it like?
Tukarak Island has many lakes spread across it. One of these lakes is also named Tukarak.
On its western side, Tukarak Island faces Flaherty Island. A body of water called Omarolluk Sound separates these two islands. To the south, Fairweather Sound forms another boundary for the island.
