Tuna's Journey in Music

Tuna, whose real name is Altuna Sejdiu, was born in Skopje, North Macedonia. Her father, Shaban Sejdiu, is a famous wrestler. He won two bronze medals at the Olympic Games. Tuna loved music from a young age. She often took part in different music festivals.

Starting Her Singing Career

Tuna's professional music journey began in 2002. She joined a TV show called Play - Search For A Star. This show was organized by M2 Production, a music company in Macedonia. Tuna was one of the two winners of the competition. This led to her first song, "Najdi den, najdi nokj, najdi vreme." The title means "Find a day, Find a night, Find time."

Becoming Popular in Albania

After her first song, Tuna started focusing on her career in Albania. She began releasing songs in the Albanian language. In 2003, she released her first album, named Tuna. It included popular songs like "Piroman" and "12 Muaj/12 Meseci" (12 Months). Her second album, S'ka me diktaturë, came out in 2005.

Trying for Eurovision and X Factor

In 2008, Tuna tried to represent North Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest. She entered the Skopje Fest 2008 competition with her song "Prašuvam bez glas." However, she did not win the chance to go to Eurovision that year.

In 2012, Tuna became a judge on the TV show X Factor Albania. She judged alongside other famous singers. That same year, she released her song "I Asaj." This song became a huge hit in all the places where Albanian is spoken. Her success continued in 2013 with her next song, "Fenix."
