Altuna Sejdiu, born on July 14, 1985, is a talented singer and songwriter. She is better known by her stage name, Tuna. Tuna is from North Macedonia and has Albanian heritage. She has become very popular for her music across the Albanian-speaking world.

Tuna's Journey in Music
Tuna, whose real name is Altuna Sejdiu, was born in Skopje, North Macedonia. Her father, Shaban Sejdiu, is a famous wrestler. He won two bronze medals at the Olympic Games. Tuna loved music from a young age. She often took part in different music festivals.
Starting Her Singing Career
Tuna's professional music journey began in 2002. She joined a TV show called Play - Search For A Star. This show was organized by M2 Production, a music company in Macedonia. Tuna was one of the two winners of the competition. This led to her first song, "Najdi den, najdi nokj, najdi vreme." The title means "Find a day, Find a night, Find time."
Becoming Popular in Albania
After her first song, Tuna started focusing on her career in Albania. She began releasing songs in the Albanian language. In 2003, she released her first album, named Tuna. It included popular songs like "Piroman" and "12 Muaj/12 Meseci" (12 Months). Her second album, S'ka me diktaturë, came out in 2005.
Trying for Eurovision and X Factor
In 2008, Tuna tried to represent North Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest. She entered the Skopje Fest 2008 competition with her song "Prašuvam bez glas." However, she did not win the chance to go to Eurovision that year.
In 2012, Tuna became a judge on the TV show X Factor Albania. She judged alongside other famous singers. That same year, she released her song "I Asaj." This song became a huge hit in all the places where Albanian is spoken. Her success continued in 2013 with her next song, "Fenix."
Recent Music Releases
In 2019, Tuna announced her third album, Fortuna. It had seven new songs and was released on March 18, 2019. Later that year, she released more songs like "Nuk ma do zemra" and "Amoni." "Amoni" reached number seventy-eight on the music charts in Albania.
