Turnersville is a community located in Washington Township, in Gloucester County, New Jersey. It is also known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area that the government tracks for population numbers.

The community got its name from the Turner family. They were one of the first families to live in Washington Township. Turnersville uses the 08012 ZIP Code, which is also used by Blackwood.

Geography and Climate

Turnersville covers a total area of about 1.5 square miles (3.9 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a small part being water. The community is located near the South Branch of the Big Timber Creek.
