Turtle Creek is a small town, called a borough, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is about 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Pittsburgh. In 2020, about 5,114 people lived there.
The town gets its name from a small stream that flows into the Monongahela River. Long ago, before European settlers came, a group of Native Americans from the Turtle Clan of the Iroquois Nation lived in a village here. A famous inventor, George Westinghouse, even built a factory nearby.
