Tyrone Keys (born October 24, 1960) is a former American professional football player. He played as a defensive end for six seasons in the NFL. His teams included the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and San Diego Chargers.

Early Life and High School Football
Tyrone Keys grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. He attended Callaway High School, where he was a star football player. In 1975, his high school team, the Callaway High School Chargers, had an amazing season. They won all 12 of their games. This perfect season led them to win the Big 8 Conference championship. The Big 8 Conference included the biggest high schools in Mississippi at that time.
College Football Career
After high school, Tyrone Keys went on to play college football at Mississippi State University. He played for four years as a defensive tackle for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. One of his most memorable moments came in 1980. In a close game against the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, Keys made a crucial play. He tackled Alabama's quarterback, Don Jacobs, at the last minute. This tackle caused a fumble, which helped the Bulldogs win the game 6–3. It was a big upset victory for Mississippi State.
Professional Football Journey
Tyrone Keys began his professional football career after college. He played as a defensive end, a position focused on stopping the opposing team's offense.
Playing for the Chicago Bears
Keys joined the Chicago Bears in 1983. He was part of the famous 1985 Bears team. This team had an incredible season and went on to win Super Bowl XX. Winning the Super Bowl is one of the biggest achievements in American football.
The Super Bowl Shuffle
The 1985 Chicago Bears team was also known for something fun off the field. They created a music video called "The Super Bowl Shuffle." Tyrone Keys was one of the players who appeared in this video. It became very popular and showed the team's fun personality.
Later Career Teams
After his time with the Bears, Keys continued his NFL career. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1986 to 1987. His final season in the NFL was in 1988, when he played for the San Diego Chargers.
