Tyshun Scott Render (born March 28, 1997) is an American professional football player. He plays as a defensive end, a position focused on stopping the opposing team's offense. Tyshun played college football at Middle Tennessee. He has also played for teams like the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League (NFL) and the New Jersey Generals in the United States Football League (USFL).

Tyshun Render's College Football Journey
Tyshun Render played college football for four years at Middle Tennessee University. During his time there, he played in 51 games. He made over 119 tackles, which means he stopped the opposing team's players many times. He also achieved 6.5 sacks, which is when a defensive player tackles the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage.
Before the NFL Combine in 2020, a famous coach, Bill Belichick from the New England Patriots, visited Middle Tennessee. He came to watch Tyshun practice in a special workout. Coach Belichick even ran drills with Tyshun and reviewed game videos with him.
Tyshun Render's Professional Career
After college, Tyshun Render began his professional football career. He played for several teams in different leagues.
Playing for the Miami Dolphins
Tyshun Render was not chosen in the 2020 NFL draft, but the Miami Dolphins signed him as an undrafted free agent on April 25, 2020. This means he joined the team even without being drafted. He was later moved to the team's practice squad.
He was called up to the main roster for two games in 2020. These were against the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. After these games, he returned to the practice squad. Tyshun signed a new contract with the Dolphins in January 2021. However, he was released by the team in August 2021.
Time with the New Jersey Generals
On March 10, 2022, Tyshun was drafted by the New Jersey Generals. This team was part of the United States Football League (USFL). He was later placed on the team's suspended list in May 2023. He re-signed with the Generals in September 2023 but stayed on the suspended list. The Generals team later stopped playing when the USFL merged with another league to form the United Football League (UFL).
Joining the Memphis Showboats
On January 5, 2024, Tyshun Render was chosen by the Memphis Showboats in a special draft for the new UFL. He signed with the team again in August 2024. However, he was released by the Showboats in January 2025.
With the Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Tyshun Render signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on March 18, 2025. This team plays in the Canadian Football League (CFL). But he was part of the final cuts on June 1, 2025, which means he did not make the team's final roster.
