Discover the Ugashik Lakes

The Ugashik Lakes are a pair of beautiful lakes in a wild part of Alaska. They are known for their stunning views and rich wildlife. The lakes are a key part of the local ecosystem.

Fishing Fun

If you love fishing, the Ugashik Lakes are a great spot! They are especially famous for their Arctic grayling. These fish are known for their large, colorful dorsal fins. Many anglers visit hoping to catch a "trophy" grayling.

Besides grayling, you can also find many lake trout here. These are larger fish that live in the deeper parts of the lakes. The lakes are also important for different types of salmon. Sockeye salmon and coho salmon use the lakes as a place to feed. This helps them grow big and strong before they travel to the ocean.
