Underdale is a suburb located in the western part of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. This area is on Kaurna land, which means it's part of the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. Underdale is situated between Henley Beach Road and the River Torrens. It is mainly a place where people live, with homes and residential areas. There is also a small industrial section on the eastern side of Holbrook's Road, close to the river.

Underdale Post Office Timeline
The first Post Office in Underdale opened a long time ago, on 1 January 1867. It closed a few years later, around 1874. However, it was reopened in 1937 and continued to serve the community until it closed again in 1993.
