Upper Dumbell Lake is a special lake found in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut, Canada. It holds the record for being the northernmost named lake in all of Canada and even the entire world!
Where is Upper Dumbell Lake?
This unique lake is located on Ellesmere Island. It sits about 5.2 km (3.2 mi) southwest of a place called Alert. Alert is Canada's northernmost settlement, meaning it's the farthest north town in the country.

Upper Dumbell Lake is found right on the coast of the Lincoln Sea. The Lincoln Sea is part of the huge Arctic Ocean. This shows just how far north the lake really is!
