Ussassai is a small town, also called a comune (municipality), located in Italy. It is found on the large island of Sardinia. This charming town is part of the Province of Nuoro.
Ussassai is about 70 kilometers (43 miles) northeast of Cagliari, which is a major city in Sardinia. It is also about 25 kilometers (15 miles) southwest of another town called Tortolì. As of December 31, 2004, Ussassai had a population of 706 people. The town covers an area of about 47.4 square kilometers (18.3 square miles).
