Västra Torup is a small village located in the southern part of Sweden. It's found in Hässleholm Municipality within Skåne County. This quiet place is known for its peaceful surroundings and a special animal park nearby.
In 2010, about 198 people lived in Västra Torup. Before that, in 2005, there were 210 residents. Because the number of people living there became smaller, Statistics Sweden no longer calls Västra Torup an "urban area."
What to See in Västra Torup
One of the most interesting places near Västra Torup is the Ingelbo Moose Park. This park is located in a place called Hissmossa, just north of Västra Torup. At the park, you can see moose, which are very large and impressive animals. It's a great spot to learn about these animals and see them up close in a natural setting.
