Vacallo is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It is part of the Mendrisio district.
About 3,000 people live in Vacallo. The town's special symbol, its coat of arms, shows a letter "V" with three bunches of grapes. Each bunch of grapes stands for one of the three main parts or 'frazione' of the town. These parts used to be separate parishes.
