Veena Malik was born Zahida Malik on 26 February in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. She grew up in a Punjabi family. Her parents are Malik Mohammad Aslam and Zeenat Malik.

Veena Malik has had a successful career in television, both as a host and a participant in reality shows.
Hosting TV Shows
In 2002, Veena hosted a show called Prime Gupshup on Prime TV. This show helped her show off her funny side, and she often made jokes and mimicked other actors.
Later, she hosted the Geo TV show Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain. People really liked her comedic performances on this show. In 2007, she was recognized as the Most stylish celebrity on the carpet at the Lux Style Awards.
Reality TV Appearances
In October 2010, Veena joined the Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss Season 4. She was one of the final six contestants out of fourteen and stayed on the show until two weeks before the finale. Her time on Bigg Boss made her well-known in the media.
In February 2011, Veena was part of another reality show in India called "Big Toss." This show was about the Cricket World Cup, and Veena was the captain of one of the teams.

Veena started her acting career in 2000 with the film Tere Pyar Mein, where she had a supporting role. In 2002, she appeared in Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa.
In 2003, she acted in the Punjabi film Pind Di Kudi, which was a joint project between India and Pakistan. She also appeared in Sassi Punno (2003). A big role for her was in Reema Khan's film Koi Tujh Sa Kahan. In the same year, she played a main role in the fantasy film Naag aur Nagin.
In 2007, Veena starred in the Punjabi film Mohabbatan Sachiyan, which became very successful. She also had a supporting role in Kabhi Pyar Na Karna that year.
Bollywood and Other Films
In 2012, Veena made her debut in Bollywood with a special dance number called "Chhanno" in the film Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai. She did another special dance song, "Fann Ban Gayi," in Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. Her first main acting role in a Bollywood comedy film was in Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai.
She also appeared in a music video called "Ac Chala Garmi Badi Hai." In 2013, she made a special appearance in the Punjabi film Jatts in Golmaal with a song called "Shabboo." She then acted in her first Kannada film, Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Hot, where she played the life of actress Silk Smitha. For this role, she gained 5 kilograms. Her last film of 2013 was Super Model, where she played a small-town girl who becomes a successful fashion model. Her last Bollywood film was Mumbai 125 KM 3D, released in 2014.
Personal Life
Veena Malik married businessman Asad Bashir Khan Khattak on 25 December 2013 in Dubai. They have two children together. They later divorced in 2018.
Veena is a Muslim and has visited the holy site of Kaaba three times.
Helping Others
Veena has worked as a representative for the World Health Organization for two years. She also supports a child at the SOS Children's Village, which is an organization in Pakistan that helps orphaned children.
In the Media
Veena broke a Guinness World Record for getting the most kisses on her birthday in one minute. She beat the record previously held by actor Salman Khan.
