VeggieTales in the City is a fun computer-animated TV show from America and Canada. It was made by Big Idea Entertainment. This series is a follow-up to VeggieTales in the House. It first came out on Netflix on February 24, 2017, with 13 episodes. A second season was released later that year on September 15, 2017.

Main Characters in VeggieTales City
- Bob the Tomato (voiced by Phil Vischer) – Bob is one of the main characters. He is best friends and roommates with Larry the Cucumber. Bob works part-time at Pa Grape's store. He enjoys reading, studying the weather, and helping his friends.
- Larry the Cucumber (voiced by Mike Nawrocki) – Larry is Bob's best friend and roommate. He is a bit silly and very energetic. Larry loves singing silly songs and riding his bike on the ceiling. He drives the town's ice-cream cart. Larry also secretly protects the city as the superhero LarryBoy!
- Laura Carrot (voiced by Tress MacNeille) – Laura is a young carrot girl. She is good friends with Bob, Larry, and Junior Asparagus. She loves playing games like baseball and jump rope. Laura also becomes a superheroine called "Night Pony." She helps LarryBoy fight crime.
- Junior Asparagus (voiced by Tress MacNeille) – Junior is best friends with Laura. He is a typical kid and looks up to Larry. Junior also has a superhero identity, "Junior Jetpack." He often teams up with LarryBoy to save the day.
- Archibald Asparagus (voiced by Phil Vischer) – Archibald is the Mayor of the town. He has a fancy British accent. He enjoys being the leader but sometimes gets very busy. He often helps solve problems when things go wrong.

- Pa Grape (voiced By Phil Vischer) – Pa Grape is a wise old grape. He runs a store called Pa's Corner Store. He often gives good advice to his friends and customers.
- Jimmy and Jerry Gourd (voiced by Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki) - These brothers live near Bob and Larry. They love to eat and spend time with their pets. Jimmy also becomes a superhero named JimmyBoy. LarryBoy helps train him.
- Petunia Rhubarb (voiced by Tress MacNeille) – Petunia is good friends with Bob, Larry, and Tina Celerina. She loves hanging out with them and offers advice. She used to work at Pa Grape's store but now has her own flower shop.
- Ichabeezer (voiced by Rob Paulsen) – Ichabeezer is a grumpy, older zucchini. He doesn't always get along with the other veggies. The only thing he truly loves is his pet olive dog, Rooney. He lives in a big mansion.
- Jean-Claude and Phillipe Pea (Voiced by Mike Nawrocki and Phil Vischer) – These brothers are peas with French accents. They seem to be school-aged.
- Madame Blueberry (voiced by Tress MacNeille) – Madame Blueberry is a female blueberry with a slight British accent. She lives in a teapot-shaped house. She enjoys fancy things and drinking tea. She is known for winning contests and has a lovely singing voice.
- Mr. Lunt (voiced by Phil Vischer) – Mr. Lunt is a gourd who does many different jobs around the city. He often jokes that his job changes in every episode. He now has his own business.
- Bacon Bill (voiced by Rob Paulsen) – Bacon Bill is a very smart and quirky character. He looks up to Larry like an older brother. He often does silly things, especially on Ichabeezer's lawn.
- Tina Celerina (voiced by Tress MacNeille) – Tina is Petunia's best friend and works at her flower shop. She can be a bit silly but always has a positive attitude.
- Motato (voiced by Rob Paulsen) – Motato is an evil sweet potato. He is LarryBoy's main enemy. He loves causing trouble for the veggie citizens. He has radish helpers and his secret lair is in his bathroom.
- Aprilcot (voiced by Tress MacNeille) - Aprilcot is a supervillain and used to be Motato's partner.
