Tyler Bryant, known by his stage name Velous, is an American music producer, rapper, singer, and songwriter. He comes from Kingston, New York. Velous is famous for writing and producing songs for other artists. He helped create Chris Brown's 2019 song "No Guidance" and Kanye West's 2015 song "All Day". Both songs were very popular and were nominated for Grammy Awards.
As a singer and rapper, Velous has worked with New York rapper Fabolous. He was featured on Fabolous's album The Young OG Project in 2014. He also appeared with Chris Brown on the 2017 song "Flipmode".

Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Tyler Bryant was born in Kingston, New York. His father was a musician, and his mother was a singer. When he was eleven, he started rapping. This happened after he heard Kanye West's song "Through the Wire".
Velous learned to play many instruments. He first learned the drums. Then he learned piano. When he was twelve, he started playing the guitar. By age thirteen, he began producing music. He also played in a jazz band in high school.
Music Career Highlights
Velous got his stage name because someone said his production skills were "marvelous." He took "marvelous" and removed "mar" to get "Velous." In 2011, he released his first mixtape, Velocity The Mixtape. This helped him get noticed by Cus Maven, who signed him to Swanky Music Group.
Velous met Fabolous through another producer named Vinylz. The three worked together on Fabolous's song "Gone For The Winter." This song was on Fabolous's album The Young OG Project in 2014. It was Velous's first big appearance as a recording artist.
In 2014, rapper French Montana signed Velous to his label, Coke Boys Records. French Montana said he loved Velous's style. He mentioned that Velous could sing, rap, and do everything. French Montana also shared that Velous impressed Kanye West. West heard many of Velous's songs and picked two beats. One of these became Kanye West's 2014 song "All Day." This song was a big hit and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Song.
Velous is also known for his guest appearance on the 2014 song "Adult Swim" by DJ Spinking. He appeared with ASAP Ferg, Tyga, and Jeremih. Later, he joined Chris Brown on Fabolous's 2017 song "Flipmode." The music video for "Flipmode" featured many famous hip hop artists. Fabolous said that when he heard the song, he knew he wanted to be part of it.
In 2019, Velous and his friend Vinylz helped produce Chris Brown's song "No Guidance." This song also featured Canadian rapper Drake. "No Guidance" was very popular. It earned Velous his second Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Song.
