About Vera Brosgol
Vera Brosgol was born in the Soviet Union. She spent her childhood growing up in both the United States and Canada. She studied Classical Animation at Sheridan College in Canada. This school is famous for teaching animation. Today, Vera lives in Portland, Oregon.
Her Work in Animation
Vera worked at a company called Laika Entertainment. This company makes amazing stop-motion animated films. At Laika, Vera helped create the stories and visuals for movies. She drew storyboards, which are like comic strips that plan out each scene. She also made concept art, which are early drawings that show how characters and places might look.
Vera has also worked with other artists. She collaborated with Shaenon Garrity on a comic called L'il Mell and Sergio. She also drew special guest comics for John Allison's Scary Go Round.
