Vera Brosgol was born in the Soviet Union. She spent her childhood growing up in both the United States and Canada. She studied Classical Animation at Sheridan College in Canada. This school is famous for teaching animation. Today, Vera lives in Portland, Oregon.

Vera worked at a company called Laika Entertainment. This company makes amazing stop-motion animated films. At Laika, Vera helped create the stories and visuals for movies.
