Her first song, "Selingkuh", came out in early 2015. Her song "Sayang" became very popular. It got over 100 million views on YouTube. This made it the second most-watched Indonesian music video in 2017. Via Vallen also sang the official theme song for the 2018 Asian Games, called "Meraih Bintang" (which means "Reach for The Stars").

Via Vallen's Journey in Music

Via Vallen is a well-known dangdut singer from East Java. She is famous for mixing pop songs with the koplo style of dangdut. Because of this, some people call her the "Pop Queen Koplo". She has worked with popular dangdut groups like New Pallapa, SERA, and Monata.

Her music became even more popular when she appeared on national TV shows. She was a guest star on the Inbox SCTV Carnival.
