Victor Humphrey Stollmeyer, known as Vic, was a talented cricketer from Trinidad and Tobago. He was born on January 24, 1916, in Santa Cruz. Vic played for the West Indies in one very important match called a Test match. This happened in 1939. He passed away on September 21, 1999, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

A Cricketing Family
Vic Stollmeyer was not the only cricketer in his family! His older brother, Jeff Stollmeyer, also played for the West Indies. Jeff even became the captain of the team. It must have been fun to have a brother who shared the same passion for cricket.
Playing for the West Indies
Vic Stollmeyer played in one Test match for the West Indies. This special game was against England in 1939. In that match, he scored 96 runs. This was a great score for his only Test appearance.
First-Class Cricket Career
Besides his one Test match, Vic played a lot of first-class cricket. These are high-level matches, just below Test cricket. He played in 33 first-class games. In these matches, he scored a total of 2,096 runs. He made four centuries (scores of 100 runs or more) and 13 half-centuries (scores of 50 runs or more).
