Vice-President of Botswana Facts for Kids

The Vice-President of Botswana is a very important leader in the government of Botswana. This person is the second-highest official, right after the President.

The President chooses the Vice-President from people who have been elected to the National Assembly, which is like Botswana's parliament. If something happens and the President can no longer serve, the Vice-President steps in to take their place. The person currently holding this important job is Ndaba Gaolathe.
