Victor Bernard Green (born December 8, 1969) is a former American football player. He played as a safety in the National Football League (NFL). Victor Green played college football for the Akron Zips. He joined the New York Jets in 1993. Later, he also played for the New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints.
Victor Green's NFL Journey
Victor Green started his NFL career in 1993. He was not chosen in the NFL Draft, which means he was an undrafted free agent. This means a team can sign a player even if they weren't picked in the draft.
Becoming a Starter
By 1994, Victor Green had become a starting player for the New York Jets. He played as a strong safety, a key position in football defense. He stayed with the Jets until the end of the 2001 season.
Playing for Other Teams
After his time with the Jets, Green played for other NFL teams. He played the 2002 season with the New England Patriots. Then, he played the 2003 season with the New Orleans Saints.
Retiring as a Jet
