Villacidro (pronounced villa-CHEE-dro) is a town in Sardinia, Italy. It is part of the South Sardinia province. In 2005, Villacidro was an important administrative center for the 'Medio Campidano' province, sharing this role with Sanluri. Since 2016, it has been part of the new province called South Sardinia.
Geography of Villacidro
Villacidro is located on the beautiful island of Sardinia. It shares its borders with several other towns. These towns include Domusnovas, Gonnosfanadiga, and Iglesias. It also borders San Gavino Monreale, Sanluri, Serramanna, Vallermosa, and Villasor.
