Wacky Races is a fun platform game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, often called the NES. It was made by a company called Atlus. This game is based on the popular Hanna-Barbera cartoon show, also named Wacky Races. In the game, you get to play as Muttley and his tricky friend Dick Dastardly.

There are other games named Wacky Races, but they are different! For example, a game for Amiga and Atari ST computers came out in 1991. Also, a racing game called Wacky Races was released in 2000.

How to Play Wacky Races

In this game, you control Muttley, the laughing dog. You explore three different areas: Hip Hop, Splish Splash, and Go Go America. You choose which area to play from a map screen. You need to finish all three areas to complete the game.

The first two areas have three levels each. The "Go Go America" area has four levels. Muttley can jump and bite enemies up close. As you play, you can collect bones. These bones let you get new powers, like throwing bombs or shooting barks. You can also use them to glide with Muttley's tail or get more health.

At the end of each level, you will face a boss. These bosses are other racers from the Wacky Races cartoon. When you beat a boss, you clear that level. Once you defeat all the bosses in an area, you can move on to the next one.

The game also features a cool version of the Wacky Races theme song from the Japanese TV show. You'll hear it on the title screen!
