Wagamama facts for kids
Wagamama is a popular international restaurant chain. It serves delicious food inspired by East Asian cooking. The name "Wagamama" actually means 'selfish' in Japanese.
This restaurant chain was started in 1992 by a person named Alan Yau. The very first Wagamama opened its doors in Bloomsbury, which is in the center of London, England.
Wagamama has grown a lot since it first began. As of 2013, there were 133 Wagamama restaurants all around the world. Most of these restaurants are located in Europe, but you can find them in other places too!
