Wakefield was once a small community in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It is now part of the village of Greenville.
From 1852 to 1879, Wakefield had its own post office. This post office was located on land where the Appleton International Airport is today. The community and its post office were named after an early settler in Greenville, J. Wakefield.
