Waldo is a small village located in Marion County, Ohio, United States. It is part of Waldo Township. In 2020, about 326 people lived there. Students in Waldo attend schools within the River Valley Local School District.

History of Waldo
Waldo was first planned out in 1833 by a person named M. D. Pettibone. He chose a spot where two important roads met. The village was named after his son, Waldo Pettibone. A post office opened in Waldo in 1847, helping the community grow.
