Education and Learning
Tucker studied at the University of Oklahoma. He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics. He also got a Master's in physics. He continued his studies and received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of California, San Diego in 1966.
Protecting Our Planet
Wallace Tucker has been very active in environmental work. He helped start and lead two important non-profit groups in Southern California. These groups are the Fallbrook Land Conservancy (FLC) and the San Diego Land Conservation Coalition.
