A Pop-ular History
The Weaver Popcorn Company started in 1928. It was founded by Ira E. Weaver. His family still owns and runs the company today. They do everything from growing the corn to packaging it. They send many different popcorn products all over the world. Their customers include big store chains, movie theaters, and other popcorn sellers.
In 2007, Weaver Popcorn Company made a big change. They were the first company to remove something called diacetyl from their Pop Weaver microwave popcorn. Diacetyl was a butter flavoring that some people were worried about. Removing it made their popcorn products even safer.
Delicious Popcorn Products
Weaver Popcorn Company makes many tasty popcorn products. They use canola oil in their popcorn.
