Wei Son (孫 暐, born October 13, 1989) is a Japanese fashion model. She has been a model since the late 2000s. Wei Son is well-known in the Japanese gyaru fashion world. She used to be a big part of Popteen magazine. She was also an exclusive model for its sister magazine, PopSister. You might see her name spelled in different ways, like Ii Son or Wei Sun.

Early Life and Background

Wei Son was born on October 13, 1989. Her official profile says she was born in Saitama, Japan. It also says she has Chinese nationality. However, Wei Son has said many times that she was born in Dalian, China. She lived there until she was 5 years old. Then, her family moved to Niigata, Japan. She grew up in Saitama. Wei Son became a full-time model when she was 17 years old.

Her Modeling Career

Wei Son started her modeling journey in May 2007. This was when she first appeared in Popteen magazine. She was on the cover of Popteen for the first time in March 2008.

Magazines and Events
