Weiningen is a town, also known as a municipality, located in Switzerland. It is found in the canton of Zürich, within the Dietikon area. Weiningen is nestled in a lovely place called the Limmat Valley, which is known as Limmattal in German. This town has a long history, as it was first mentioned way back in the year 870!

Getting Around Weiningen: Transport
From 1901 to 1931, Weiningen had a special tram line called the Limmattal tramway. This tram connected Weiningen to Schlieren and even had links to Zürich.
Today, you can get around Weiningen using bus routes 302 and 304. These buses connect the town to nearby places like Altstetten, Dietikon, and Schlieren. If you want to travel by train, the closest railway stations are Schlieren and Dietikon.
