Weitnau is a municipality in the rural district Oberallgäu in Bavaria/Germany. Since 2008 Alexander Streicher has been the mayor. Weitnau has been twinned with Magné in France since 1986. Weitnau is situated in the foothills of the Allgäu Alps.
