Exploring Wenatchee Confluence State Park
The Wenatchee River actually splits the park into two main parts: a north side and a south side. Don't worry, a footbridge connects them, so you can easily explore both!
North Side: Fun and Games
The north part of the park is in an area called Sunnyslope. This side is more like a regular park with lots of space for activities. You can find places to play sports, have picnics, and just hang out. It's a great spot for families and friends to enjoy the outdoors.
South Side: Horan Natural Area
The south part of the park is in West Wenatchee. This section is very different! It's a special area called the Horan Natural Area. This part of the park is a man-made wetland.
