West Mountain is a small community in Utah County, Utah, United States. It's called a "census-designated place" (CDP), which means it's an area identified by the U.S. Census Bureau for statistics. It's part of the larger Provo and Orem area. In 2010, about 1,186 people lived there. West Mountain gets its name from the actual West Mountain nearby, where you can find the West Mountain Observatory.
