West Pensacola is a community in Escambia County, Florida. It's called a "census-designated place" (CDP) because it's a special area defined for counting people, but it's not an official city or town. In 2020, about 21,019 people lived there. This number was a little lower than in 2010. West Pensacola is part of a larger area that includes Pensacola and other nearby places like Ferry Pass. The community of Brownsville is also part of the West Pensacola CDP.
