The white-lined antbird (Myrmoborus lophotes) is a small bird. It belongs to a bird family called Thamnophilidae. This family is known for its birds that often live in forests.
You can find the white-lined antbird in South America. It lives in countries like Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru.

About Its Family Name
This bird used to have a different scientific group name. It was once placed in the Percnostola group.
However, scientists did a special study in 2013. They looked at the bird's genes. They found out that it actually belongs with the Myrmoborus birds. So, its scientific name was updated.
