White City is a small city located in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It's like a small island of land completely surrounded by the larger city of Sandy. In 2010, about 5,407 people lived there. More recently, in 2019, the population was estimated to be around 5,768 people.

Where is White City Located?
White City is found in the state of Utah. It's part of Salt Lake County, which is a busy area. The city covers a total area of about 0.9 square miles (2.26 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water.
How White City Grew
White City was first started in 1955 by a person named M. Kenneth White. The city was named after him! Over the years, it grew and changed how it was governed.
- On September 26, 2006, White City was given "Township Status." This meant it could manage some of its own local affairs.
- Then, on January 1, 2017, it became an "Incorporated Metro Township." This was another step towards having more control over its own government.
- Most recently, on May 1, 2024, White City officially became an "Incorporated City." This means it now has its own city government, like many other cities in Utah.
