Whitworths is a company that makes and sells delicious dried fruit, nuts, and snack products. They also provide ingredients for home baking. This company started a long time ago, in 1886, in a town called Irthlingborough, which is in Northamptonshire, UK.

The company was first started by three brothers named John, Herbert, and Newton Whitworth. They called their business Whitworth Bros. It's important to know that the Whitworths company today is different from another company nearby, also called Whitworth Bros., which makes flour.

Whitworths has even received special recognition from the Royal Family! In 1971, they were given a Royal Warrant by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. A few years later, in 1974, they received another Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II. This means their products were supplied to the Royal Household.

About Whitworths

A Look Back at History
