Wilingura facts for kids
The Wilingura (also called Wilangarra) were a group of Indigenous Australian people. They lived in the Northern Territory of Australia.
Where the Wilingura Lived
The Wilingura people lived in a specific area of land. This land was located between the Cox River and Nutwood Downs. A researcher named Norman Tindale studied their traditional lands. He thought their territory covered about 7,500 square miles (19,000 km2). This area included the Strangways River and the upper part of the Hodgson River. Their land also stretched west towards a place called Birdum.
