William Ash (born 13 January 1977) is a English actor, known for playing the roles of Nicky in the BBC One comedy-drama series, Making Out, from 1989 to 1991; Darren Walsh in the ITV children's drama series, Children's Ward, from 1989 to 1991; Jack Stubbs in the ITV military drama series, Soldier Soldier, from 1993 to 1994; Stephen Snow in the ITV drama series, Where the Heart Is, from 1997 to 1998; Nick Anderson in the BBC One drama series, Clocking Off, from 2001 to 2002; Jon Moore in the BBC Three black comedy drama series, Burn It, during 2003; Christopher Mead in the BBC One school-based drama series, Waterloo Road, from 2009 to 2011; and Boleslaw 'BB' Borawski in the Sky Atlantic crime drama series, The Tunnel, from 2016 to 2017. His film appearances include Mad About Mambo (2000), and Hush (2008). Ash made his acting debut in 1987, whilst appearing in a episode of the ITV soap opera, Coronation Street.
