Williams Creek is a small town in Marion County, Indiana, United States. It's located about 9 miles (14 km) north of downtown Indianapolis. In 2020, 430 people lived there.
Since 1970, Williams Creek has been an "included town." This means it's part of Indianapolis because of a plan called Unigov. Even though it's part of Indianapolis, Williams Creek still has its own local government.

History of Williams Creek
Williams Creek was first planned in 1925. It was meant to be a special community for wealthy families. The town officially became a town in 1932.
Famous American writer Kurt Vonnegut's parents lived in Williams Creek. He wrote a letter to them from Europe after he survived the bombing of Dresden during World War II. At that time, he was a prisoner of war.
Geography of Williams Creek
Williams Creek is in the northern part of Marion County. A stream with the same name, Williams Creek, runs along its southwest side. This stream flows southeast and joins the White River. The creek also forms the town's border with Meridian Hills.
