Wilson is a small town located in Lincoln County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 309 people lived there. Part of the nearby community of McCord is also found within the town of Wilson.

Where is Wilson, Wisconsin?
Wilson is in the northern part of Lincoln County. It is about 9 miles (14 kilometers) northwest of the city of Tomahawk. To the north, Wilson shares a border with Oneida County.
Roads and Travel
A main road, U.S. Route 8, goes through the northern area of Wilson. This road can take you east about 8 miles (13 kilometers) to U.S. Route 51. If you go west on U.S. Route 8, you will reach Prentice after about 22 miles (35 kilometers).

The town of Wilson covers a total area of about 36.3 square miles (94.1 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 35 square miles (90.7 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 1.3 square miles (3.4 square kilometers), is water.
The Somo River and its smaller streams flow through the town. These waters eventually lead east to the Wisconsin River at Lake Mohawksin in Tomahawk. Somo Lake is a notable lake located in the middle of Wilson, on the Little Somo River.
