Wilson Phillips is an American singing group. It is made up of three talented women: Carnie Wilson, Wendy Wilson, and Chynna Phillips. These women come from famous musical families. Carnie and Wendy are the daughters of Brian Wilson from the legendary band The Beach Boys. Chynna is the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips from the group The Mamas & the Papas.
The group became very popular in 1990 with their first album, also called Wilson Phillips. This album sold over 10 million copies around the world! It also had three songs that reached number one on the Billboard music charts. This made them the top-selling female group at that time. In 1990, they won a Billboard Music Award for their hit song "Hold On." They were also nominated for five Grammy Awards and two American Music Awards.
