Windsor Township is in the southwestern part of Ashtabula County. It shares its borders with several other townships.

A Look at Windsor's Past
The name "Windsor Township" is also used for other townships in Ohio, like those in Lawrence and Morgan counties.
The very first person to settle in Windsor Township was George Phelps. He came all the way from Connecticut in 1799. He was one of the first pioneers to build a home in this area.
