Wintersleep is a cool Canadian indie rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Indie rock is a type of rock music that is often made by independent record labels. The band started in 2001.
Wintersleep has five members. The current band members are Paul Murphy, Mike Bigelow, Loel Campbell, Tim D'eon, and Jon Samuel. In 2008, they won a Juno Award for New Group of the Year. A Juno Award is a big music award in Canada, like the Grammys in the United States.

- Mike Bigelow – He played keyboards from 2005 to 2006. Since 2007, he has played the bass guitar.
- Paul Murphy – He is a vocalist (singer) and plays the guitar. He is one of the original members, joining in 2001.
- Tim D'Eon – He plays guitar and keyboards. He also joined the band in 2001.
- Jon Samuel – He plays keyboards, sings backing vocals, and plays guitar. He joined the band in 2006.
