The History of Wizz Fizz
Wizz Fizz started as part of a candy called Happy Pops. These were lollipops that came with sherbet. The packaging even featured a cowboy character, inspired by the TV show hero Hopalong Cassidy.
The fizzy sherbet part became so popular that it was sold on its own. This happened in 1947, and that's how Wizz Fizz was born!
Characters on Wizz Fizz Packets
For many years, from 1966 to 1986, Wizz Fizz packets featured famous Disney characters. You could find Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, and Uncle Scrooge on the packets.
Later, in the late 1990s, new and exciting characters appeared. These included 'Screaming Mimi,' 'Weird Wally,' 'Gross Gus,' 'Nerdy Neil,' 'Mad Myron,' 'Kooky Kaz,' and 'Doctor Freak.'
