Wolf Rock TV was a cool animated TV show from 1984. It was made by DIC Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions. A famous radio DJ named Wolfman Jack was one of the voices!

The show only had seven episodes on the ABC network. It was taken off the air because not enough people were watching it. After Wolf Rock TV, ABC started showing reruns of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo cartoons instead.

Years later, in 1989, Wolf Rock TV was shown again. It was part of a special block called "The Wolf Rock Power Hour" with another cartoon called Kidd Video. It's hard to find copies of the show today, but some old drawings and toys from the series have appeared.

What the Show Was About

The main idea of Wolf Rock TV was a rock music TV show hosted by Wolfman Jack. He had three teenage helpers: Sarah, Sunny, and Ricardo. They would play real music videos during the show.

They also had a funny pet parrot named Bopper. The show's manager, Mr. Morris, wasn't a big fan of the rock music Wolfman Jack played.

The show also had special parts. One was called Wolf Rock News, which was like a news report. Another was The Rock N' Roll Museum, where they showed real interviews with musicians.
