Story of Wonder Park
June Bailey is a girl with a big imagination. She and her mom create a magical place called Wonderland. It's an amusement park run by a team of animals.
- Boomer is a big blue bear who greets visitors.
- Greta is a wild boar.
- Gus and Cooper are beaver brothers.
- Steve is a porcupine who handles safety. He also has a crush on Greta.
- Peanut is a chimpanzee and the park's leader. He can create rides by listening to June's mom's voice.
Over time, June's mom gets sick and goes away to get better. June feels sad and starts to lose interest in Wonderland. She even burns the park's blueprints.
Later, June's dad sends her to math camp. June thinks her dad needs help. She escapes the bus to go home. Instead, she finds a broken-down Wonderland in the woods. A dark cloud called the Darkness surrounds the park. June and the animals try to fix a ride called Clockwork Swings. But then, Chimpanzombies attack! These used to be the park's plush toys. Now they make the Darkness stronger.
June gets separated from her animal friends. She finds herself in a floating room called Zero-G Land. There, she finds Peanut hiding. Peanut tells June he felt lost when he stopped hearing the voice in his head. June then realizes something important. The Darkness was created by her own sadness and doubt about her mom's illness. The Chimpanzombies break in and capture Peanut. June manages to get away.
June runs back to the animals. She tells them she found Peanut. She also admits that she caused the Darkness. The animals are upset and leave her alone. June then sees a piece of the blueprint. She realizes she can create ideas for the park herself. She fixes a ride to catch up with the animals. She explains why she created the Darkness. Seeing that June wants to help, the animals decide to work together again. They want to save Peanut and Wonderland.
The group finds the Chimpanzombies taking Peanut into the Darkness. The animals fight back. June rushes to save Peanut. She jumps into the dark void. June promises Peanut that she will be the voice for his imagination. She tells him not to let the Darkness win. This gives Peanut an idea! He makes a slide out of bendy straws to escape.
As they slide away, June sees that Clockwork Swings is connected to her name written in cursive. It's just like the blueprint piece. With Peanut's help, they get Clockwork Swings working again. They use June's name to move the gears. This clears Wonderland of the Darkness. A small cloud remains over the park. June sees it as a reminder to always be imaginative.
June goes home. Her mom is now cured and back with her. They set up a small Wonderland in their backyard. June then shares the story of Wonderland with other kids.
