Xavier T. Brunson is a very important leader in the United States Army. He is a general who has served in the military for many years. Since December 20, 2024, he has been in charge of several big military groups. These include the United Nations Command, the ROK/US Combined Forces Command, and the United States Forces Korea.
Before taking on these roles, General Brunson led the I Corps from 2021 to 2024. He also served as the commanding general of the 7th Infantry Division from 2019 to 2021.

Xavier T. Brunson grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He went to Reid Ross High School. After high school, he continued his education at several universities.
College and Advanced Degrees
General Brunson earned his first degree, a bachelor's degree in political science, from Hampton University in 1990. This is where he officially joined the Army as an officer. Later, he earned a master's degree in human resources from Webster University. He also studied at the United States Army War College, where he earned another master's degree in national security and strategic studies.
